FINAL MOCK DRAFT
April 23, 2025
1

Cam Ward
No explanation needed — the Titans are locked in on Cam Ward at #1. With good tools and playmaking upside, Ward brings the spark that this stagnant franchise desperately needs.
QB | MIAMI | 6’2 | 223
2

Travis Hunter
It would be a major surprise if the Browns did not select Travis Hunter. General Manager Andrew Berry referred to him as the “Shohei Ohtani” of football. The top overall talent in the draft, Hunter has the rare ability to elevate a team’s win total from both the wide receiver and cornerback positions.
WR/CB | COLORADO | 6’1 | 185
3

Abdul Carter
While nothing is certain in the draft, the sense is that New York will select Abdul Carter. There may be internal disagreement within the Giants' staff, but the final decision rests with Joe Schoen. Carter is a true blue-chip talent, and the team remains intrigued by several other quarterbacks on the board later on.
EDGE | PENN ST. | 6’3 | 259
4

Will Campbell
If the board falls this way, I'm told that Will Campbell will be the pick at No. 4. The Patriots have a pressing need at left tackle, and Campbell fits the culture Mike Vrabel aims to build. While there are some questions about his arm length, Campbell's athleticism, preparation, and instincts project well at the NFL level.
OT | LSU | 6’6 | 323
Carolina Panthers
5

Ashton Jeanty [TRADE]
I was told last week that Jacksonville is looking to trade down. With picks 10, 39, and 41, Chicago is well-positioned to move up. Jeanty is worth the capital—he can fill both the Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery roles in Ben Johnson’s offense.
RB | BOISE ST. | 5’9 | 215
6

Armand Membou
From the start, I have had a strong sense that the Raiders would target an offensive tackle. DJ Glaze is serviceable, but Armand Membou is an ideal fit. New GM John Spytek comes from a front office that prioritized the trenches. With injury concerns around Christian Wilkins, Mason Graham remains a name to watch as well.
OT | MISSOURI | 6’3 | 313
7

Mason Graham
The Jets are a true wildcard in this draft, and the pick could go in several directions. In this scenario, Mason Graham is simply too good to pass up. Aaron Glenn can build a strong defensive identity by pairing him with Quinnen Williams. Also keep an eye on Tyler Warren, Kelvin Banks, and Jahdae Barron as potential options.
DT | MICHIGAN | 6’3 | 320
8

Jalon Walker
The Panthers need defensive starters, and Walker brings both impact and intangibles. He can elevate those around him and make an immediate difference. With proper coaching, he has the tools to become one of the NFL’s most versatile and dependable defenders.
EDGE/LB | GEORGIA | 6’2 | 245
9

Mykel Williams
This may seem like the obvious spot for Shedeur Sanders, but given Derek Carr’s dead cap structure and a new regime, it is far from certain. Kellen Moore comes from an Eagles system built through the trenches—what better way to mirror that approach than by tapping into Georgia’s defensive pipeline?
EDGE | GEORGIA | 6’5 | 265
10

Tetairoa McMillan [TRADE]
Early in the process, I was told Liam Coen is high on Tetairoa McMillan, who could fill a Mike Evans-type role in his offense. That said, last year Peter Schrager—close with Sean McVay—predicted the Rams would go offense, yet they doubled down on defense. With similar buzz in 2025, don’t be surprised if James Gladstone does the same with someone like Oregon’s Derrick Harmon.
WR | ARIZONA | 6’5 | 212
11

Kelvin Banks
With Trent Williams nearing the end of his career, the 49ers are looking to retool. Schematically, Kelvin Banks is a seamless fit. Whether he starts inside or outside in Year 1, he can bolster the line and potentially become their future left tackle. Also worth monitoring: CBs Jahdae Barron and Will Johnson, and defensive linemen Walter Nolen, Derrick Harmon, and Shemar Stewart.
OT | TEXAS | 6’4 | 320
12

Matthew Golden
The Cowboys have been searching for a true No. 2 receiver to pair with CeeDee Lamb. Golden offers game-breaking speed, twitch, and catch-point polish. Golden played his entire football career in the state of Texas and fits Jerry Jones’ bold decision-making style.
WR | TEXAS | 6’0 | 195
13

Jahdae Barron
If the board breaks differently, the Dolphins could target an offensive tackle. But in this scenario, they address their next biggest need at cornerback. While Will Johnson ranks slightly higher on my board, concerns over his health and athleticism lead them to the safer option. Jahdae Barron offers versatility, instincts, speed, and maturity to elevate the secondary.
CB | TEXAS | 5’11 | 200
14

Tyler Warren
This has been my Colts pick in nearly every mock, which likely means it won’t happen. While I have Loveland higher on my board, Tyler Warren is a strong fit in Indianapolis—a versatile, do-it-all piece they could really use.
TE | PENN ST. | 6’6 | 257
15

Mike Green
The Falcons still lack a true pass-rusher, as the Matthew Judon trade failed to deliver. Despite concerns over off-field issues and measurements, Green is arguably the top pure pass-rusher in the class. With an NCAA-leading 17 sacks, he brings the production Atlanta desperately needs off the edge.
EDGE | MARSHALL | 6’4 | 248
16

Will Johnson
With Will Johnson sliding due to health and athleticism questions, the Cardinals land a top talent for their thin secondary. While I’ve often mocked them a DL or EDGE, their offseason investments up front make cornerback a flexible option in this scenario.
CB | MICHIGAN | 6’2 | 202
17

Derrick Harmon
The Bengals simply need defensive reinforcements. Derrick Harmon is an excellent scheme fit and brings the kind of impact they’ll need in high-scoring matchups. Also worth monitoring: Walter Nolen, Shemar Stewart, and James Pearce.
DT | OREGON | 6’5 | 310
18

Walter Nolen [TRADE]
The Seahawks have a history of trading down, and the Eagles are no strangers to moving up. With more picks than they can use, Philly gets aggressive to add to its D-line pipeline. Walter Nolen brings rare twitch, athleticism, and disruptive upside to an already stacked unit.
DT | OLE MISS | 6’3 | 305
19

Shemar Stewart
Year after year, the Buccaneers keep investing in their defensive line. Shemar Stewart’s production hasn’t matched his traits, but his tools and athleticism remain enticing—especially with Todd Bowles as a mentor. Jihaad Campbell is a strong fit here too, though medicals may push him down. Keep an eye on Donovan Ezeiruaku as well.
EDGE | TEXAS A&M | 6’6 | 290
20

Omarion Hampton
Running back seems like the likely pick for Denver, though TE, WR, or defense remain in play. Hampton is a workhorse with big-play ability—exactly what this offense needs. With a well-rounded roster, the Broncos have the flexibility to make this kind of luxury pick.
RB | UNC | 6’0 | 220
21

Shedeur Sanders
With Shedeur Sanders sliding further than expected, the Steelers stop the fall and address a major need at quarterback. While not the most toolsy prospect, Sanders has a playmaking gene that could excite the Steelers. Under Mike Tomlin’s guidance, he brings some stability to the QB position in Pittsburgh.
QB | COLORADO | 6’2 | 215
22

Colston Loveland
It’s hard to see Colston Loveland lasting until pick 22, and teams like the Rams or Chiefs could move up. But if he’s there, it’s a no-brainer for the Chargers. Harbaugh coached him at Michigan, it fills a need, and the fit is perfect.
TE | MICHIGAN | 6’5 | 245
23

Maxwell Hairston
With Jaire Alexander’s future uncertain and an already thin secondary, Green Bay adds a playmaker. Hairston is long, fast, twitchy, and instinctive—bringing range and versatility to a division loaded with formidable passing attacks. Hairston fits the prototype the Packers covet at the position.
CB | KENTUCKY | 6’1 | 186
24

Emeka Egbuka [TRADE]
The Vikings only have four picks in this draft, and there isn’t a significant drop-off in talent from 24 to 38. Meanwhile, the Patriots land a go-to receiver. Egbuka brings the professional traits Vrabel wants and the route-running nuance McDaniels loves. For a team with constant WR turnover, he’s one of the safest bets in the class.
WR | OHIO STATE | 6’1 | 205
25

Josh Simmons
After overhauling their offensive line, the Texans are expected to prioritize that unit in the draft. This fit makes sense—Cam Robinson can start at LT while Josh Simmons recovers from his knee injury. Long term, Simmons has the tools to develop into Houston’s franchise left tackle.
OT | OHIO STATE | 6’5 | 310
26

Jihaad Campbell
The Rams have options here—CB, WR, or a trade up for Loveland all make sense. But with the board falling this way, they add to their young defensive core. Jihaad Campbell is a top-tier talent who can contribute right away. If his medicals check out, this could be one of the steals of the draft.
LB | ALABAMA | 6’3 | 244
27

Malaki Starks
I went back and forth between Malaki Starks, Donovan Ezeiruaku, and James Pearce Jr. EDGE might be the bigger need, but Starks is a perfect fit in Baltimore. He complements Kyle Hamilton perfectly, forming what could become one of the league’s best safety duos.
SAF | GEORGIA | 6’1 | 205
28

Kenneth Grant
I wouldn’t be surprised if Grant is gone by this point, but he’s an ideal fit in Detroit. A Michigan product, he’s the type of tough, high-effort player Dan Campbell loves—a space-eater who moves well for his size. If Seattle trades back, don’t rule out the Lions targeting Grey Zabel either.
DT | MICHIGAN | 6’3 | 339
29

Donovan Ezeiruaku
The Commanders don’t have many pressing needs, but EDGE is one of them. Ezeiruaku brings length, bend, and the physical traits to develop into a dynamic pass-rusher. This could also be a trade-in spot for a team (i.e. Giants or Browns) targeting a QB with a fifth-year option.
EDGE | BC | 6’2 | 247
30

Trey Amos
The Bills could go DT if Harmon, Nolen, or Grant falls—but in this scenario, they don’t. Despite re-signing Christian Benford and bringing back Tre White, Buffalo still needs a long-term outside corner. Trey Amos is one of my favorite players in the class and has the tools to shine in big moments. A perfect fit in Buffalo.
CB | OLE MISS | 6’0 | 190
31

Josh Conerly Jr.
This could be a trade-in spot for a QB, but for now, let’s make the pick. Even with Jaylon Moore added, the Chiefs should still target their OT of the future. Josh Conerly Jr. is quick, technical, and athletic—a strong fit in this offense. Don’t be surprised if they also consider Ohio State RB TreVeyon Henderson.
OT | OREGON | 6’4 | 315
32

Grey Zabel [TRADE]
After trading down from 18, the Seahawks land the player they likely wanted all along. With long-term needs across the O-line, Grey Zabel offers versatility, experience, and reliability—an ideal fit for Seattle’s current roster build.
